Suicide Prevention Seminars
In November, we held three suicide prevention seminars throughout the conference. During our time together we tackled some difficult questions and engaged in thought filled discussion that will help us take this uncomfortable topic into our churches and youth groups. ![]() Summer, 2015Youth from First Congregational UCC-Webster Groves participating in the Crop Hunger Walk. | ![]() Summer, 2015On July 17, a group of 10 adults and young adults from St. Peter's UCC-St. Louis spent a weekend mission trip at the Marthasville campus of Emmaus Homes. They power washed, cleaned up ditches, waterproofed tables, and spent time getting to know clients. They finished off the weekend with a karaoke dance party Saturday night and Chapel on Sunday morning with many of the clients. ![]() Summer, 2015Youth from Mount Tabor UCC and Grace UCC, both of south St. Louis city, and Peace UCC of Hartsburg, MO, traveled to mid-Florida to explore and experience the blessing of service.
