2021 General Synod Delegate Summary:
General synod 33 was my first foray into the work of the church. I have never attended a synod before and was amazed at the large attendance and the nuance of every interaction.
I found so much joy in meeting new people and having real conversations, even while being remote. I enjoyed learning more about the issues of the national setting and the local churches.
While things were not perfect (technology can be finicky), I was so grateful to meet with UCC clergy and lay people across the nation (and world) and worship together.
